Harvest Festival 2015

"If we gave food to the food bank it would make people happy because it means they won’t be hungry."

I took the food to the food bank, the volunteers were very grateful and they thought it was so kind and thoughtful that children were thinking about others in need. 

This year our school council had a meeting to discuss where to donate our harvest food.

"It’s not nice being hungry especially children, they might not grow strong if they haven’t enough food."

They were given options and after a long debate it was decided to ask for food to be donated to a local food bank.

These were some of the reasons why.

"Some people have got more money than others so they could give food to food banks and it could change lives."

The school council would like to say a big thank you to all the parents for their generosity.
