The Busy Bears class visit to Hoyland Library 2020!
We had a fantastic time when we visited the library.
We put our high-vis jackets on and Mrs Bamforth led the way!
She stopped the traffic for us and made sure the roads were safe.
We saw lots of different shops along the way. We used Fred Talk to try to read the names of the shops. "S -a-m-s ......Sams" said MacKenzie.
The librarian read a story called "A Busy Day For Birds" by Lucy Cousins. It was so funny!
We listened really carefully and then we acted out the different bird movements.
Henry was a flamingo!
We then drew some birds.
They are amazing!
Finally, we each chose a book to read to ourselves and each other.
There were fiction books, non-fiction books, picture books and CD books.
What a great choice Hoyland library have!
