What is Diwali?

Diwali is known as the festival of lights. Many people celebrate the legend of Hindu God Rama and his wife Sita's returning to their kingdom in northern India after being exiled following the defeat of demon king Ravanna. They celebrate with decorating their homes with lights and candles.

Children made some fantastic Diva lamps to celebrate Diwali. They decorated their lamps very carefully and showed great creativity!

Children sang Diwali songs and danced to the music. They looked fantastic in their costumes!

In the Forest, children copied some Rangoli patterns and created some of their own using the mud to paint.
