Making Pizzas at Chicken Stop

We were so excited to make pizzas at the Chicken Stop take away. It was so kind of Mr Tilki to let us visit.

Along our walk to the Chicken Stop we spotted lots of places we had already visited.

"I buy bird food from there" said Rex when he spotted B&M.

"I buy toys from there" said Millie-Jo as she pointed to B&M.

"I buy gingerbread men from there and they're yummy!" said Skylah as she noticed the bakery.

We were so excited when we finally reached the Chicken Stop!

Mr Tilki had prepared everything for us so he was ready to show us what to do.

He showed us how to weigh and measure the dough, and then roll it in our hands.

We loved this part!

"It's like play dough" said Jaxon.

Mr Tilki used a special machine to make the pizza bases round in shape. "It's getting bigger and bigger" said Rex. "It's a circle shape" said Holly.

Once we had made the base, it was time to put the tomato puree on and the cheese. "It feels funny" said Georgina.

Once the topping was on it was time to cook the pizzas. We made sure we stood well back as the oven was hot. We were so excited to see the final result! "It melted" said Kian as he noticed what had happened to the cheese.

Here they come!!!

Finally, Mr Tilki cut the pizzas and we counted how many pizza boxes we needed. Together, we counted all the way up to 13!

We had a fantastic time at the Chicken Stop and would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Tilki.
