We watched Hey Duggee Bird Watching before we went to the forest, you can watch on YouTube by clicking on the image below...
We knew we would have to be quiet in the forest if we wanted to see the birds close by.
We looked at different types of birds, and we knew that some birds, like penguins and flamingos, do not live in our forest area.
We looked closely at the Mealworm, seeds, fat balls and coconut shells. We used our senses, feeling the textures with our hands and smelling with our noses.
We took it in turns to put the fat balls in our bird feeder, counting to five. We secured the lid back on, and went off to choose where to hang all our bird food.
Once all our food was ready for the birds we had time to explore. We enjoyed using the tyre swings, bus, rollercoaster and mudslide.
We had popcorn and donuts for snack! What a treat!
Popcorn, popcorn, sizzling in a pan. Shake it up! Shake it up! Bam! Bam! Bam!
Popcorn, popcorn, now it's getting hot! Shake it up! Shake it up! Hot! Hot! Hot!
