Remembrance at Greenfield

From Monday 4th November our School Council went round to each class collecting donations for Poppies.

By the end of the week nearly all the poppies had gone. It was lovely to see all the children wearing their poppies with pride!

On Sunday 10th of November The School Council took part in the Remembrance Parade at Hoyland.

The children were very proud to be able to represent their school and it was lovely that so many parents joined us.

At 11am we all were silent for 2 minutes, then we sang a hymn and Father Richard said a prayer.

One of our oldest and youngest school councillors laid the wreath on behalf of our school .
