Stay and Play - Coronation Celebrations 

During the week before King Charles III Coronation we made scones for our afternoon tea party in the forest.

We used flour, butter, sugar and milk. We rubbed the butter into the flour and sugar, then mixed in the milk to get a soft dough.

We added raisins too!  It was messy but we had great fun! 

In the forest we made medals for the coronation, rolling, printing and cutting the clay. 

We made crowns using natural materials.

We enjoyed our scones with clotted cream and jam. Do you think they were delicious? 

We had biscuits and drinks too. 

We had time to explore the forest, using the mud kicthen, the chalks and the hammocks.
